This project was to create a 3d animation and then present it in some kind of real world space. I took this rig and animated it doing a looping laugh. Then I built a hang man out of wood and hung a cloth screen on the end of it. I used a miniprojector to project the animation from the base of the hangman onto the screen and create the visual illusion of a surreal figure being hung and laughing hysterically about it. The concept behind this one is to indule, find humor, and be confident even if you feel like you are tieing your own noose and hanging yourself in the many risks you take as an artist to do something new and unordinary.
